CBS to Stream Select NFL Games and Super Bowl 50 Free to Roku and Other OTT Devices

CBS Sports announced this week that it will will stream two regular season NFL games, four NFL playoff games and Super Bowl 50 to laptops, desktops, and tablets at CBSSports.com, and on televisions through select over-the-top (OTT) devices, including Roku and Roku TV, Xbox One, Apple TV, Chromecast. All of these NFL ON CBS games will be available for free to all users - no subscriptions and cable/satellite TV service authentication will be required.

The first live streaming broadcast will be the New York Jets vs. Miami in London (Oct. 4, 9:30 AM, ET). The Carolina-Dallas Thanksgiving Day game (Nov. 26, 4:30 PM, ET), will also be streamed live.

All AFC playoff coverage including the Wild Card, Divisional, and Championship games will be streamed live. The NFL ON CBS live streaming coverage will culminate on Sunday, Feb. 7, with a live broadcast of Super Bowl 50 from Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, California.

"We’re very excited to offer more NFL ON CBS streaming coverage across more digital platforms than ever before," said Jeffrey Gerttula, Senior Vice President and General Manager of CBS Sports Digital. “All NFL fans will have access through their computers, tablets and now Connected TVs to two regular season games for the first time in addition to all of the AFC playoff action, culminating with a truly historic Super Bowl." Additional details of the streaming coverage for each game will be announced at a later date.
